Job Description
Your primary responsibilities, which include but are not limited to, are as follows:
SELLING & CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Offer a high standard of customer service, ensuring all customers who enter the store have a pleasant and memorable experience. Build loyal clientele, maintaining your own clientele base through personal follow up, correspondence and other services. Regularly call clients about new arrivals, sales, and special promotions. Deal with customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and polite manner that reflects the utmost in service and the DKNY brand.
MERCHANDISING, DISPLAY & STORE APPEARANCE:
Ensure store appearance reflects the highest standards of the DKNY FSS concept. Ensure merchandise presentation is attractive and presentable at all times. All staff are responsible for the cleanliness & tidiness of the store.
STORE OPERATIONS:
Opening and closing of the store, store transactions and balancing of tills. Comply with all store operation policy and procedures.
COORDINATION OF MERCHANDISE:
Ensure restocks from stockroom and warehouse are completed daily. Restock sold items immediately after the sale. Execute markdowns as directed.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:
Responsible for knowing products and trends prior to each season. Knowledge of fabric type and care. Knowledge and understanding of present and history of DKNY and Donna Karan. Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends.
MONTHLY GOALS:
meet or exceed all individual and store goals.
QUALITY CONTROL:
Examine new arrivals and report defects immediately to warehouse.
LOSS PREVENTION & SECURITY:
Practice all methods of loss prevention to help minimize shrink. Eg. Staff Bag checks, security tag audit, bag cable audit.
PROFESSIONAL IMAGE:
Ensure personal image, dress, and grooming are professional and reflective of the brand.
TEAMWORK:
Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance. Be flexible to relieve other shifts or react to staff absenteeism when required.
