SUPERVISOR

Job Description

Your primary responsibilities, which include but are not limited to, are as follows:

SUPERVISING AND STORE OPERATIONS:

Opening and closing store; opening and closing tills and ensuring that all reports are printed. Lead and participate in calling customers about new arrivals, sales, and special promotions. Handle and organize all outgoing and incoming alterations, oversee payment and follow-up.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Drive sales and uphold a high standard of customer service by leading by example and by motivating associates to achieve individual and store goals. Support the development of loyal clientele: supervise associates to ensure client follow-up happens in a timely manner. Effectively deal with customer issues to support associates, adhering to company policy.

MERCHANDISING, DISPLAY & STORE APPEARANCE:

Ensure store appearance reflects the highest standards of the DKNY FSS concept. Ensure merchandise presentation is attractive and presentable at all times. All staff are responsible for the cleanliness & tidiness of the store at all times.

COORDINATION OF MERCHANDISE:

Ensure restocks from the stockroom and warehouse are completed daily by sales staff. Coordinate execution of markdowns as directed. Regularly review stock levels and arrange appropriate transfers from warehouse.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

Assist in organizing monthly product knowledge sessions for sales staff and sharing product knowledge daily with associates. Responsible for knowing products and trends prior to each season. Good knowledge of fabric type and care. Knowledge and understanding of present and history of DKNY and Donna Karan. Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends.

LEADERSHIP:

Assist with staff recruitment, supervision and training. Coach associates on the floor to support the 7 steps of selling and the development of wardrobing techniques. Mediate and help resolve all staff issues. Provide a positive influence on sales associates' general performance. Resolve day-to-day floor issues

QUALITY CONTROL:

Examine new arrivals and report defects immediately to warehouse.

LOSS PREVENTION & SECURITY:

Practice all methods of loss prevention to help minimize shrink. Eg. Staff Bag checks, security tag audit, bag cable audit.

PROFESSIONAL IMAGE:

Ensure personal image, dress, and grooming are professional and reflective of the brand.

TEAMWORK:

Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance. Be flexible to relieve other shifts or react to staff absenteeism when required.
